Dirk Fleischmann is a visual artist based in Seoul and Berlin.
From 2009 I have been living in Korea, where I learned calligraphy. From this experience I started to make art works with ink on Korean paper (Hanji), which I sometimes share on Instagram stories .
Also I have been pursuing one artistic concept about the economy of artistic production for more than 20 years. It is called myconglomerate and consists of nine enterprises: Kiosk snack retail, trailer rental, chicken eggs, solar energy, game show, virtual real estate, chandelier manufacturing, reforestation and a fashion label.

www.myFashionIndustries.com (last update 2010) was an outcome of my nomadic artistic research about international trade agreements in Singapore, Philippines and Korea from 2006 to 2009.
www.myForestFarm.com is a reforestation project in the Philippines for visual research about carbon dioxide sequestration (ongoing).
www.RATschoolofART.com (Seoul) was founded in 2014 as an artist run space to talk and learn about art. Before that I initiated the Black Sheep Lecture Series in 2009 with more than 200 artist talks. From 2011-2012 the events were hosted at Artsonje Center, Seoul.
